Supporting the Swallows Day Parade

The Assistance League of Capistrano Valley (ALCV) proudly participated in this year’s Swallows Day Parade, volunteering alongside the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association to support one of the community’s most cherished annual traditions.

This past weekend, ALCV members served as banner holders in the parade, helping guide and showcase the many community groups, including Supervisor Katrina Foley from the 5th District, performers, and organizations that make the event so special.

“Our members were honored to support the San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association and be part of such a meaningful local tradition,” said Kelly Gill, VP of Resource Development, of the Assistance League of Capistrano Valley. “Volunteering at events like this is just one of the many ways we stay connected to and serve our community.”

Participation in community events like the Swallows Day Parade highlights ALCV’s ongoing commitment not only to service, but also to strengthening partnerships and celebrating the vibrant communities they serve.
